The Bony Labyrinth
The bony labyrinth is located within the inner ear and contains the membranous labyrinth, or functional sensory epithelium.

Parts of the bony labyrinth include the vestibule, semicircular canals, cochlea, vestibular aqueduct, and medial cochlear aqueduct.

Vestibular Aqueduct
The vestibular aqueduct begins near the common crus of the superior and posterior semicircular canals and passes posteriorly, lateral, and inferior. It contains the endolymphatic duct. It is not usually seen on coronal images, and is difficult to see on axial images.
